A wildfire burning near Yosemite National Park in California has burned dozens of structures and forced the evacuation of thousands west of the famed park.

As of the latest official information, over 1,500 structures are threatened, and around 30 have burned thus far.

Almost 3,000 people have been evacuated due to the fire, which has been burning throughout this week, according to the AP.
