YAKU ISLAND, JAPAN (ALBOENEWS) — Typhoon Noru killed two people as it made landfall in Japan’s Southern Island of Yaku, according to Sky News.

A 67-year-old man died after sustaining injuries in a fall on Yaku island, while an 84-year-old was found floating in a port on Tanegashima island.

A total of 9000 people have been ordered to evacuate their homes as the Typhoon has already dropped two feet of rain as of late Saturday.
