WASHINGTON, D.C. (ALBOENEWS) — There have been reports of an active shooter at the Environmental Protection Agency building in Washington, D.C.
A major police presence began forming Wednesday afternoon amid reports of shots fired.
Police were seen clearing out the building, but have not confirmed whether shots were actually fired.

UPDATE: The EPA building is reportedly on lockdown. There is also a police presence at the Trump Hotel, which is nearby.
UPDATE: EPA spokesperson says “The Federal Protective Service and DC Police responded to reported gunshots at EPA HQ. No injuries, building is now secure.”
