OKLAHOMA CITY (ALBOENEWS) — A woman died early Wednesday while being transported for observation inside of an ambulance.

According to NewsOK in Oklahoma City, the woman, 66 year-old Carolyn Koch, was being transported to the hospital when the ambulance rolled, and tore apart, ejecting her from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

They were travelling on I-44 when they suddenly veered off the roadway and caused the roll. The cab separated from the cargo compartment as it rolled, with the cab ending up upside down. Another passenger was ejected from the vehicle, but is in good condition.

The driver was treated and is in good condition. Speeding is suspected to have been the main cause of the tragic accident.
