EL PASO, TEXAS (ALBOENEWS) — Early Wednesday morning, 23 undocumented immigrants, as well as 256 pounds of marijuana, were found in eastern El Paso.

According to KTSM in El Paso, the immigrants and marijuana were found inside of a semi-truck which was stopped on I-10 on the eastern part of El Paso. Three of the immigrants were from Guatemala and the rest were from Mexico. The marijuana was found inside of the sleeper cabin alongside three of the immigrants.

The driver and passenger were arrested and charged with transporting illegal aliens for financial gain and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, respectively.

All of the immigrants are in good health, despite the poor conditions inside of the trailer.
