CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO (ALBOENEWS) — A mass shooting has taken place at a library in Clovis, New Mexico, according to local media.

Police say a man walked into the Clovis-Carter Public Library and began to open fire around 4 p.m. local time, according to BNO News.

Multiple people are reportedly dead.

UPDATE:

Reports are coming in that at least six people have been shot, and that the suspect may be in custody (7:35 p.m. ET)

At least two people are dead, according to NBC News. (7:56 p.m. ET)
