SALT LAKE CITY (ALBOENEWS)  —  A second police officer is placed on leave amidst the a criminal investigation into the arrest of a nurse who refused to allow a blood draw, according to CBS News. The Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake has placed arresting officer, Detective Jeff Payne, on leave with an unidentified officer. Mayor Jackie Biskupski and Police Chief Mike Brown released a joint statement saying they are taking steps to ensure such an incident doesn’t happen again. Brown says he is “alarmed” by the video showing nurse Alex Wubbles being arrested on July 26.
