PUERTO RICO (ALBOENEWS) — Puerto Rico’s Governor has declared a state of emergency ahead of Hurricane Irma’s arrival, according to Reuters. Ricardo Rosselló activated the National Guard Monday, offering up a $15 million budget to help the U.S. territory handle Irma.
Hurricane Irma is forecast to strengthen Tuesday night. The United States National Hurricane Center reports Irma will arrive in Puerto Rico Wednesday night.
