PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON (ALBOENEWS) — According to Puyallup Patch, a police action in downtown Puyallup has prompted a district office, two elementary schools and a middle school to go into lockdown.

It is not currently known the cause of the police activity.

UPDATE 1:40PM ET: Police now say that they are seeking a woman reportedly carrying a firearm in downtown Puyallup.

UPDATE 2:09PM ET: All lockdowns lifted after active shooter report found to be incorrect.
