MOSCOW, RUSSIA (ALBOENEWS) — A number of “almost simutaneous” warnings were issued to various railway stations, shopping malls and universities suggesting that multiple bombings were imminent. This has resulted in massive evacuations, state media is reporting.

Currently 20 sites are being inspected for dangerous items though nothing has yet been discovered. Officials have stated that though they believe this to be little more than a threat, the warnings are being treated as legitimate.

UPDATE 2:41PM ET: State media is now reporting that all sites have been cleared with no sign of explosives. Officials say over 100 threatening calls were made over the course of the day.
