FORT BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA (ALBOENEWS) — An explosion of yet to be determined origins has been reported occurring Thursday morning on a Fort Bragg training field, reports WRAL. Currently it is said that at least 15 soldiers have been wounded.

UPDATE 11:54AM ET: ABC11 reports that the explosion coincided with a vehicle rollover, however this has yet to be confirmed by officials. The injured soldiers are members of U.S. Army Special Operations Command. At least 15 have been airlifted to medical facilities.

UPDATE 2:32PM ET: Officials now say that eight, not 15, soldiers were wounded. An investigation is in progress to determine what caused the explosion.
