ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (ALBOENEWS) — As protests over the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley over murder charges regarding a fatal shooting in 2011 continue for a third night, dozens have been arrested reports WGNO. Officials report acts of vandalism in addition to officers been hit by rocks and other items. No serious injuries have been reported.

St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson says that despite this the “majority of protesters are nonviolent.”

A fourth day of protests is already underway, as police brace for further confrontation.
