#BREAKING: Police Involved in Standoff in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA (ALBOENEWS) — A library in downtown Sioux Falls has been evacuated as police are involved in a standoff with a parolee who claims he has a weapon.

According to Keoland News, the area around the standoff has also been cleared. Armored vehicles and a large police presence are at the scene.

UPDATE:
Sioux Falls Police confirm that the man has surrendered peacefully. But the streets may remain closed as bomb squad checks his car. (5:50 p.m. ET)
