WASHINGTON, D.C. (ALBOENEWS) — The Federal Election Commission has sent a formal letter and threatened legal action against “Deez Nuts” for information provided on his failed 2016 presidential bid.

The Commission believes that Nuts may have falsified information, including identifying information, campaign information and bank records, when filing papers with the FEC.

In the letter, the FEC threatened legal action, saying, “knowingly and willfully making any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation to a federal government agency, including the Federal Election Commission, is punishable under federal law,” according to the Daily Beast.
