CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (ALBOENEWS) — Hall-of-Fame NASCAR team owner Robert Yates has died at 74 after a battle with cancer, according to ESPN.
Yates was elected into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in May of 2017, just months after being diagnosed with late stage liver cancer, according to Sporting News.
Yates’ son confirmed his death.
