COVINGTON, GEORGIA (ALBOENEWS) — Authorities confirm that they have found the body of an infant girl who was reported missing Saturday.

According to NBC11, the body was found near the home of her family. The child was reported missing after she allegedly disappeared from her crib in the family home. The parents say that they changed her and fed her at 5 a.m., but she was gone 5 hours later.

UPDATE: Fox 5 reports that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. (10/10 5:26 p.m. ET)
