#BREAKING: Gunfire Puts Three Hartford Schools on Alert

HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT (ALBOENEWS) — Gunfire has prompted three schools in Hartford to go on alert, reports NBC-CT.

Little more is currently known to the public, however the schools have not yet gone into lockdown.

UPDATE: Police say gunfire was detected by the city’s ShotSpotter system, adding that nearby students are not in danger. (11:23 a.m. ET)
