CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA (ALBOENEWS) — A notification from the FBI regarding a threat of a mass shooting has prompted schools in Charlottesville to go into modified lockdown, WTVR reports.
Officials say the warning regarded a message posted on a social media board speaking of anger over the recent events in Charlottesville. This post also expressed admiration for the Las Vegas gunman and suggested that schools in the Virginia city should experience a similar mass shooting next.
Police have been deployed to various schools in the area.
