BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA — Ten members of the Louisiana State University fraternity Phi Delta Theta are being sought for arrest following the death of a pledge, reports 4WWL-TV.

On Sept. 14 freshman pledge Maxwell Gruver was found severely intoxicated; after being taken to a nearby hospital he was pronounced dead.

Reports indicate that Gruver, during a hazing practice the night before, had been forced to consume dangerous amounts of alcohol and was left unattended after becoming unconscious.

Ten members of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity are facing charges of criminal hazing. Matthew Naquin, in addition to this charge, will face a charge of negligent homicide.
