A case of Tuberculosis has been found at Troy University in Alabama, according to WSFA.

State health officials notified the university Wednesday. They have also begun to identify students who may have come into contact with the disease and screening them.

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria. It mainly affects the lungs, and does not manifest symptoms in many cases, in which case it is referred to as latent tuberculosis.
