ABC News reports that the popular House of Cards series on Netflix will be ending after its sixth season.
The announcement comes amid allegations against Kevin Spacey, a lead star of the show, which say that he made sexual advances towards 14-year old Anthony Rapp when they were working together on a different project.
Spacey has apologized for the incident, saying that he does not remember it. He also used the statement to announce that he is gay.
- According to AP, Netflix has announced that the show’s production has been suspended as a result of Spacey’s accusations. They say that they are taking this time to speak with cast and crew to see if they have any concerns, as well as to review the situation. (2:15 p.m. ET)
