AP reports that the ACLU has announced that U.S. officials will release a ten year old immigrant girl with cerebral palsy to her family.

The girl, Rosa Maria, was stopped while on the way to a children’s hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, with her cousin, a U.S. resident. Border Patrol agents then followed the two to the hospital and waited until Maria had surgery and remained with her after she was transferred to the Health and Human Services Office of Refugees and Resettlement.

The ACLU had filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for the detainment.
