#BREAKING: Explosion Reported in Downtown Houston

Residents in Houston, Texas, have reported a large explosion, resulting in a fire, in the downtown area. The explosion reportedly occurred south of the Continental Airlines building, and resulted in injuries, according to one report. (source) 3:45 p.m. ET November 10, 2017

Another report stated that the explosion occurred at the Whitehall Hotel (source) 3:47 p.m. ET November 10, 2017

We now have multiple reports that the explosion occurred at the Whitehall Hotel

The explosion has been determined to have originated from a transformer explosion in the electrical room of the hotel. Three people were replacing the circuit breaker at the time, with one of them sustaining major injuries. The other two suffered minor injuries. (source) 6:11 p.m. ET November 10, 2017
