A major 6.8-magnitude earthquake has struck Costa Rica, according to the U.S. Geological Service. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km and was centered 16 km WSW of Parrita. The earthquake struck at 9:28 p.m. ET. (source) 9:41 p.m. ET November 12, 2017
