Police are responding to a reported officer-involved shooting in West Baltimore. An officer has reportedly been taken to a local hospital, but injuries are unclear at this time. The Police Commissioner has been seen at the Shock Trauma Center, where the officer was reportedly taken.

Sadly, the officer involved in yesterday’s shooting has died. Detective Sean Suiter died today around noon at the hospital. Suiter was shot in the head yesterday after approaching a suspicious individual. His partner then rushed him to the hospital, and was visibly distressed. The suspect is still at-large and a reward of $64,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest. (source) 2:37 p.m. ET November 16, 2017
