A new shocking video has been released of a nursing home in Atlanta where veteran James Dempsey was being taken care of in 2014. In the video, Dempsey can be seen lying in bed, and calling for help as he struggled to breathe. It also shows the nurses laughing while going through chest compressions to try and save the man.

The Nursing staff found him unresponsive at around 5:30 a.m., but took nearly an hour to call 911 for assistance. One of those involved, Wanda Nuckles, testified in court that she rushed to the aide of Dempsey when she learned he had stopped breathing, which is conflicted by the evidence shown in the clip. The nurses have since been fired, and the family of Dempsey, who sadly passed away, reached a settlement with the Northeast Atlanta Health and Rehabilitation center.
