Lombok Airport near Bali has been closed due to the volcanic eruption of Mount Agung, as the volcano continues to spew ash into the sky. The eruption has entered the magmatic eruption phase, meaning the possibilities of a strong, explosive eruption are heightened.
Ash is covering roads and cars all around the volcano, and all flights were cancelled due to the ash streaming miles into the air. The last time the volcano erupted, it killed over 1,000 people. (source) 6:42 p.m. ET November 26, 2017
