The “Unite the Right” group leader Jason Kessler has applied for a rally permit to hold a protest on the one year anniversary of the deadly Charlottesville protest that left one dead and many more injured. A spokesperson for the city has confirmed the application.

“First, let me explain why I’m doing this. I simply will not allow these b——s to use the one year anniversary of the Charlottesville government violating a federal judge’s order and the US Constitution, in conjunction with violent Antifa groups, to further demonize activists,” Kessler wrote. The city has not commented on whether or not they will accept the application. (source) 5:49 p.m. ET November 29, 2017
