The House of Representatives passed a bill on Wednesday that will make it easier for gun owners to carry concealed weapons across state lines.
The bill would allow people to use their legal permits for carrying concealed handguns across state lines, as well as strengthening background checks. The bill will now move to the Senate, where it may find a more difficult task ahead of it. Democrats in the Senate will likely block the concealed carry measure, but the enhanced background checks could be pushed through. (source) 4:53 p.m. ET December 6, 2017
