A former D.C. Metro police officer has been convicted for trying to help support ISIS as well as obstructing justice.

Nicholas Young, 38, was arrested at Metro headquarters after he purchased special communication technologies that he intended to send to ISIS to communicate with potential recruits without being noticed. He faces a maximum prison sentence of 60 years. (source) 4:22 p.m. ET December 18, 2017
