Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has vetoed a bill that would have prevented abortions past the 20 week mark.

The bill was passed through the state legislature last week. Wolf described the bill as a “vile assault on women’s ability to make their own decisions about their own health care.” Under their current law, abortions are outlawed past 24 weeks, unless there are significant dangers to the mother’s health.
