Homes are being evacuated after a brush fire broke out near downtown Riverside on Thursday, fueled by winds and dry conditions.

Fire crews are on the scene trying to combat the blaze. There are no reports of injuries or damage at this time. (source) 3:33 p.m. ET December 21, 2017
