BREAKING: Acclaimed Mystery Writer Dead at 77

Sue Grafton, best known for her mystery novels, has passed away at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer.

Grafton died in Santa Barbara, California. Best known for her alphabetically organized detective stories such as “A is for Alibi” and “B is for Burglar,” she also wrote and developed the 1981 TV series “Nurse.” Her daughter confirmed her death via Facebook. (source) 2:40 p.m. ET December 29, 2017
