South Korea officials say they have seized a second ship that they say they suspect is selling oil to North Korea at sea, according to Yonhap.
The vessel, with Panamanian flags was seized and inspected. It is the second “known” vessel that has been seized by South Korea since United Nations sanctions prohibited oil from being sold to North Korea.
The first was a Hong Kong-flagged ship that reportedly transferred oil to a North Korean vessel in October. The seizure was announced by the government on Friday.
