A man was arrested at the downtown Houston Hyatt Regency after police were called due to the man being intoxicated and trespassing.

Then, in a search of his hotel room, it was discovered that the man had several weapons and rounds of ammunition inside of the room. They found an AR-15, a shotgun, and a handgun. The room was located on the top floor of the hotel, which was planning a New Year’s Eve celebration including a 50,000 balloon drop at midnight. (source) 3:16 p.m. ET December 31, 2017
