A significant portion of JFK International Airport in New York has been evacuated after a large water main break.
The airport was already in chaos after many passengers were stranded due to the ongoing extreme winter weather in the area. Terminal 4 was flooded with water, according to social media posts. (source) 2:59 p.m. ET January 7, 2018
All international flights into Terminal 4 have been suspended. The inner roadway into Terminal 4 has also been closed due to the water. Additionally, there may be a power outage inside of the terminal due to the water, but this is unconfirmed. (source) 4:43 p.m. ET January 7, 2018
