All orange cream and chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bars produced from a plant in Dunkirk, NY, have been recalled due to concerns of listeria contamination.

The list, which includes major brands such as Kroger, Lucerne, and Great Value, can be found here. The recalled products have a production date of January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 and a “best by” date of January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

No illnesses have been reported in connection to the ice cream. Listeria monocytogenes, is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, and frail or elderly people. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short- term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, an infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
