The International Olympic Committee has approved the North Korea delegation’s plans to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympic in South Korea.
The Olympics will begin with North Korea and South Korea marching together, and will include a joint women’s hockey team with players from both North Korea and South Korea. The team will compete as “Korea” under the unification flag, according to USA Today.
North Korean athletes will also represent their country in four other sports: figure skating, short track speedskating, cross country skiing and alpine skiing.
A total of 22 athletes from North Korea will compete.
