The Connecticut Health Department has released new numbers that say they have had 32 flu-related deaths so far this season.
Among these, 28 of the deaths were from people 65 years or older. Officials are warning that the peak of flu season still may be a few weeks away, and numbers will continue to rise. They urge all people to receive a flu shot as soon as possible.
