Starting in 2019, the Cleveland Indians will no longer use their Chief Wahoo logo on their uniforms.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has said that the logo is “no longer appropriate for on-field use.” It has been used on Cleveland uniforms for over 70 years, but has caused tension and controversy between the team, fans, and native americans. The Indians have been moving away from the logo in various ways over the past few years.
