Utah billionaire and philanthropist Jon Huntsman Sr. has died at the age of 80.
Huntsman was born into a poor family, eventually creating a very successful chemical industry business. After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, he began to run a research center to try and eliminate all types of cancer.
His son Peter now runs the center, as well as Huntsman Corporation, Jon Huntsman Jr. is serving as the ambassador to Russia, and Paul Huntsman runs the Salt Lake Tribune. His other children are involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and oversee the Huntsman Senior Games and the Huntsman Education Awards.
