A woman has accused the Mayor of Lantana, Florida, of offering to exchange speed bumps for sex.

Lantana Mayor David Stewart allegedly drove Catherine Padilla to a motel after having lunch with her about her request for speed bumps in the town for safety. He then allegedly asked her to have sex with him, which she refused. Later he asked again before the vote on the measure.

Stewart has denied all the allegations.
