A girl was reportedly bitten by an emotional support dog on a Southwest flight from Phoenix to Portland.
The child reportedly approached the dog, despite warnings from the owner not to do so. The 6-year-old girl was bitten on the forehead, breaking the skin. She received medical treatment and the owner and dog were taken off of the flight.
Southwest policy states that animals allowed on flights must be trained to behave in public, but say they are reviewing their policy that does not require documentation.
