The Supreme Court has denied a request by the White House to overturn a lower court ruling that blocked President Trump from ending the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The motion would have sidestepped the Appeals Court, a process that has not been used for nearly 30 years.

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the White House must wait for the Appeals Court ruling before bringing the case to the Supreme Court.
