99-year-old George Coronos has set a new world record in the 50m freestyle for the 100-104 year old age group, according to BBC News.

Gorones clocked 56.2 seconds in Queensland, Australia.

The previous record for the event was 35 seconds longer.

Corones is eligible for the 100-year-old age group because he turns 100 in April.
