A preliminary magnitude-4.2 earthquake has struck in Oklahoma and has been felt throughout Kansas and Oklahoma, according to witnesses.
The earthquake struck at around 6:18 p.m. ET and was felt in cities such as Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City and Wichita, Kansas. It also registered on a seismogram in Texas.
An aftershock has occurred in right about the same place as the earthquake earlier Sunday afternoon. The earthquake, also a magnitude-4.2, occurred NE of Enid, Oklahoma, at around 10:40 p.m. ET. It occurred at a depth of about 5 km, according to the USGS. (source)
