BREAKING: Two Police Officers Shot in California

Two police officers have been shot at the scene of a barricaded suspect in Pomona, California, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Late Friday night, Police Chief Mike Olivieri confirmed two police officers have been shot and wounded, and at least one of them was severely wounded. SWAT personnel remained on scene at the time.

“Dispatchers relayed reports of “officer down” near the intersection of Palomares Street and Fernleaf Avenue. A law enforcement source said about 75 officers from nearby police agencies responded to the scene but weren’t immediately able to remove the officers to safety because of the armed suspect.”
