Now ex-college football standout Kishawn Holmes has been convicted of rape, and is facing 18 years in prison.

Holmes, widely considered to be one of the best junior college running backs in his last season, raped a fellow student at Cerritos College back in 2016. This was his second rape conviction, his first being when he was a minor.

He was reportedly being offered 7 different D-1 scholarship offers prior to the incident and arrest. Holmes, 22, now faces a lifetime registration as a sex offender. He will be sentenced on May 2nd.
