A new law passed in Utah amends the child neglect law in the state to allow parents to let their children play outside alone.

Previously, it was a crime in Utah for parents to allow their children to play outside or walk home from school without the supervision of a parent. However, the “Free Range Kids” bill amends the child neglect laws of the state to remove the threat of prosecution.
