A Broward County Sheriff’s deputy has been suspended with pay after he was found sleeping in a patrol car while on-duty at Stoneman Douglas High School.
Deputy Moises Carotti was found asleep in his marked patrol car while he was on-duty at the school. Another deputy was notified by a student, and then went and woke Carotti up. He then informed superiors about the incident. Roughly 30 minutes before this incident, the brother of the school’s shooter was arrested for trespassing at the school.
